From humble beginnings in Mackay, NQCranes has grown over the last 35 years to eight branch locations and more than 100 staff to become Australia’s largest independent overhead crane service business.
This owner operated business has become a leader in crane and hoist supply within Australia due to our innovative design, knowledge and customer focus.

Wayne Pidgeon relocated to Mackay and established the business

Opened branch in Gladstone

Opened branches in Townsville, Cairns and Mt Isa

Mackay operation moved into purpose-built facility in Paget with complete manufacturing capability
