Stanwell Barron Gorge, Cairns

Refurbishment of the turbine monorails for unit one and unit two within the Barron Gorge Hydroelectric power station. Removal of existing monorails from site and structural modifications, blast NDT and paint. The main 1.6T Monorail was replaced with a new monorail with an increased capacity of 2T. The location of this monorail was changed for removal of key components for future overhauls. All monorails were reinstalled, load test and commissioned to the Australian Standards.
